8 years ago I left my military career to become a filmmaker. Like many young camera enthusiasts, first I started to try out filming weddings, where I well trained my documentary skills and got to know the basics of the camera. I managed to succeed at weddings, founded 'Riverside films', got local and international awards. Introduced locals with a new style how to shoot weddings and now I have left for greater challenges - to work at cinema and commercial production. I have worked with agencies and also on cinema set. I am definitely a team person and I value good work ethics. My military background helps to keep organised and to have structure to my work. With every project I am pushing myself to new limits and 'overkill' is my middle name.
I am very passionate for analog 16mm motion picture film. For me it is like a Christmas, where you unpack a gift like a child every single time when you receive the film scan. 'Film - Develop - Scan - Sleep - Repeat' could be my motto for the recent 2 years. Also, if there is going to be a new launch of Space X Starship, I will probably take a break to watch it live because I like everything about space. I will say “YES!” to good coffee anytime and even in the middle of the night.
